How do I get my Sims in Open For Business to sell their toys?

Question

I have a store,hired employees,a cash register,and an open/close sign. One of my employees has a sales badge and the others have toy making badges. I have customers coming in everyday,but no one wants to buy anything in my toy store. How can actually sell something?

By the way this is on PC not Nintendo or anything like that

If you can't sell any toys then you can paint something and then you can sell your painting.
