How do I get my Sony Bravia home theatre surround sound to work while watching tv?

  1. your cable does not have surond sound sorry


  2. Bob you must have audio hooked up from the dvd player to surround sound but you also must hook some type of audio( rca or optics) from the surround out to tv in. Basically the surround system must connect to each component including the tv. Enjoy the Bravia. I got the 46" bravia 2500 for x;mas and love it.
