How do I get my boyfriend to sleep at night?

He works from 1pm-9pm Monday through Friday and goes to bed around 2 or 3 am. How do I get him to go to sleep like around when I do (12 am-ish)?

  3. I went through this with my hubby before we were married..  Here's what we do:

    Start a routine at night.  Brush your teeth together.  Get into bed and read or whatever works for you just so it's the same every night.

    No caffeine after dinner.

    Turn off the TV and computer and stuff like an hour before bed.

    Sleep in the dark.

  4. talk to him... and i might say that he is selfish-ish... because if someone doesn't let m sleep the night i would go just crazy enough to throw the tv out the window.

  6. Is he really that sensitive about the temperature?! If so then take a few blankets off him or something, so that he feels that the temperature is just the same as 10 years ago.

  13. He needs to so things in the morning before he goes to work.  So sign him up to go the gym in the morning.  If he wakes up earlier then he will go to bed earlier.  You need to give him reason to wake up early so he will be willing to change his sleeping patterns.
