  1. Buy them from the store.

  2. Get a good recipe

  3. rap them in cling film.

  4. Butter them as soon as they come out of the oven, when they are cool wrap tightly in plastic or foil. (real butter)

  5. If your recipe has 3 cups of bread flour, add 1 tablespoon of powdered dry milk. It gives the bread a finer crumb and a tender crust and acts as a dough relaxer. Adding 1 tablespoon of butter to the dough will also give the product a softer crust.

  6. Wrap them in foil before you put them in the oven.

  7. If you are talking about when them come out of the oven - try baking them less.

If you are worry about them drying out after being baked - try keeping them in a ziplock with a wrung out papertowel in there with them.

  8. Microwave for 30 seconds with a damp paper towel covering the rolls.
