  1. yikes i had the same problem

  2. get one of these things: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js... they get all the hair off.

  3. You're cat obviously thinks she's boss so what you got to do is be patient! She sits, you take her off and tell her no. SHe'll get mad at you because this is not a dog--this is a cat. so maybe get her a cat bed or something and give her little catnip treats when she sits in it or when she gets off the sofa.

  4. Pardon the question, but if your afraid of a little hair, why the cat? Vacuuming the furniture every day and throwing out the dark colored clothes is easier and nicer than forcing your furry-friend to set on the floor.

  5. pardon the pun but you aye got a cat in h***s chance, mine are now 15,16 and 17 and i tried all sorts to keep them of my seats, even brought them their own bed,but at the end of the day they sat and slept where they wanted to..and nine times out of ten would be on the chairs or settee when i got up the next morning.and never a true word in the poem below.

Cats sleep anywhere, any table, any chair.

Top of piano, window-ledge, in the middle, on the edge.

Open draw, empty shoe, any body's lap will do.

Fitted in a cardboard box, in the cupboard with your frocks.

Anywhere! They don't care! Cats sleep anywhere.

  6. The cheapest solution I've heard is putting aluminum foil over the cushions.  It supposedly scares them when they land on it.

They also make products like scat mats and such that makes a sound when they jump on the furniture to scare/discourage them.

  7. Being youve tried many ideas i think your cat knows you dont like it when she sits on the couch so when you see your cat on the couch be mad and show them whos boss i recommend stomping over and spraying them with water right in the face and on there body you will then notice they clean themselves after that they try to l**k all the water off so if you keep doing this your cat will eventually get tired of cleaning itself and stop sitting on your furniture. Also you should get a scratching post they can sit on (if you dont already have one). I really hope this helps i know sometimes cats can be a pain but in the end i love em. :)

  8. How about GROOMING your cat so it has less loose hair to shed?  Do you really expect your cat to just lie on the floor?  That's a little cruel and if so I'm not really sure why you have a cat in the first place.
