I have wood and some tile floors (no carpet at all) and no matter what I do I can not seem to get them clean.

Any ideas on how to clean these?

  1. I have found that you have to keep constantly rinsing out your mop or rag. Also after I clean, I go back over the wet area with a dry towel. It helps get the rest of the dirt up. You can use a Swiffer but I find it is the same, and has to be gone over again. Hope this helps.

  2. If you have any children around, this is fun.

let the kids go put on shorts and/or swim suits.

Get a bunch of old towels and rags. let the kids have a ball with soap and water and the rags. after they are finished use the towels to get up the water.

The floors will shine and the kids have a ball.

  3. Wood - brush off, then damp cloth over end of brush.

Tiles - good old mop & bucket.

  4. spit and shine
