  1. Shorten the time he's in the exercise ball (often, people leave them in the balls for too long, which gives them no option but to go potty inside it).

Make sure you didn't just wake him up, before putting him in the ball (many rodents tend to go potty after waking up).

Just realize that hamsters are a ''poopy'' pet. They go when they need to go, they don't care about where they are or what surface they go on.

Most exercise balls can be taken apart, where you have 2 halves to clean. Often by little screws, or sometimes even by a twist. Wash it directly after use. I always used Dawn soap to clean them.

  2. theres not really a way to keep him for doing it. just dont feed him until after the ball witch would b pointless becuz ur excersing him for nothing. so i would feed him and then like 3 hours later than let him run around in it..

  3. u kinda can't n can depends on how long the hamster stay's in da ball

  4. you can't, just like my chinchilla it won't stop pooing

  5. Buy him a lil toilet.

  6. its only pooping because its scared. try to calm it down. its something you two can work on together. My friends hamster did this too, she just caled it down, and viola! it works

    Hope this helps!

  7. You can't stop them.

Wash his ball after he poops in it.

  8. Have you tried putting a tiny cork in it's butt? j/k :)

Seriously though, small animals usually poo when they get nervous or scared.  Try putting it in a box for a few min, let it settle down.  Then put the ball in with it and let it check it out.  When it gets comfy with that, put it in and tilt the box so it can roll on out.  Just a thought. I've never actually tried it but it sounds good. Let me know what happens!

  9. Its pretty much impossible. A hamster will pee and or p**p anywhere they go.

  10. You can't  stop them. Hamsters aren't that smart. Just clean it out once it gets a little dirty.

  11. The only thing I can suggest is playing with him a few min's before putting him in the ball.  This handling may stimulate his need to poo, and save you some cleaning (the ball anyway..lol)

  12. They do it naturally. There is no stopping nature.

  13. make sure he poops before he goes in i guess.

my friends hamster did that all the time. haha. its nastty,:)

    good luck !

  14. I'm sorry to say

But i don't think there isn't a way to train him

Just make sure you don't get him in the ball when he just woke up

And try to put him in the ball until after he poos

    Mine does this

    And its annoying

But you get use to it

    Good luck
