  1. Go to an OBGNY or and endocrinologist they can do blood work to meassure hormone levels in the blood stream. That is how they test to see if a woman is in menapuse at least.

  2. That's weird, because my doctor told me a blood test can show irregular levels of LH and FSH.

  3. I'm afraid the doc is correct, there is no point in testing as you are female so your hormones will be screwed up.

  4. Get a  referral to an endocrinologist (gland/hormone/body chemical specialist).  There are PLENTY of different tests to assess hormone levels and how they're effecting you.  Find out what's going on and how to fix it, but don't see the doctor who refuses to help...seek help elsewhere.

  5. Heya,

Plenty the most easy way to get your hormone levels tested is through a rountine blood test. ( they done this for me, checked all my hormones yes all my hormones!), this will be accurate and up to date and it will show you if you have any hormones that are abnormal in the doctors eyes. And then they will be able to treat you accordingly. So im afraid your doctors wrong they can test for hormones all of them at that from routine blood work.

    Hope i helped
