How do I get my hotmail on my mac mail?

I have a hotmail account and since I got my dads old powerbook g4, i created a new account. I want to get my hotmail onto the mac mail so I can just click there instead of going online and signing in. i cant create a new email for mac (@mac.com) because wayyy to many people know my old email (hotmail) THANKSSS!!
