How do I get my image picture back on my messenger pop up?

I have gone into display images browsed load the image but does not appear

You have to have the image you want saved on your computer. I would suggest storing under "My Pictures".

Then open Messenger, and click on "Messenger" in your top menu.

Scroll to "Preferences"

Then click on "Display Image" in the side menu.

Then change the default image to the one you want.
