How do I get my invite past spam filters?

I have invited 41 people to a group, but 10 of the invitations came back saying msn, hotmail, or mindspring were bouncing the invitations as spam.

How can I get around that?

If you know those ID, send private mail from your ID that is in their contact.

In it give the link to the Group. They can then apply to join.

if you have a closed membership group, you're out of luck.

there's nothing anyone can do about that when invites are seen as spam by mail servers

if it's not closed, just e-mail the people the direct link to your group and they can join by clicking the big blue Join This Group tab.
