How do I get my laptop to detect all wifi connection near it?

I want the internet on my laptop, and I need something simple to use, something that will detect all connections around me.. I use Wireless Network Connection but it doesn't seem to work well.. Anything else I can use?

Yeah sometimes wireless network connection can have problems connecting to the internet, just configure it.

if it reads the signal, its good, means you are connected, you can also check your IP and all of that:

click on start, go to Run, type CMD, then in the small dos windows type IPCONFIG: if all of those numbers are there, then you are connected on the laptop, if they are 0 its not connected.
