How do I get my mom to buy me boxers instead of whity tighties, I am 13 years old.?

Just turned 13. I have to dress out for P.E. in the 7th grade. My brother gives me wedgies and says, "Little boy wears tighty whities." He even tied me up one time while I was sleeping took everything but my underwear and layed me in the living room for his girl friend to see. What do I do?

Tell your mum, "I'm old enough to buy my own underwear  now" then u can choose the boxers u want. Also do something about ur brother, either tell ur mum or have a talk with him and tell him how it made u feel. What he did shows no respect and that he's the little boy.

Have you asked her? I realise you might be embarrassed to do so, but it won't be so bad. I remember when I was about your age switching underwear styles; it felt a little weird to ask, but the weirdness did not last at all.

ask your mom and tell her you want to try boxers. My twins are 13 and said they wanted to try boxers because of the same reason when they change at Gym people laugh and say whitey tighty. I bought them boxers but they didn't like them! They were so used to briefs that boxers felt weird. I didn't mind letting them try though, no harm. They decided to stick with the briefs and tell people to stick it when they make fun.

just remember once you switch to boxers everyone will know that they got to you and they will view you as a follower. Be yourself and don't worry what others think. Once you switch the jerks will find something else to nag you about.

I wore plain white briefs until I went to my friends 13 b-day party back in January of 06...I was still 12...and we played strip truth or dare...and we were always like dropping our pants and stuff being stupid....and I was the only one that was doing it..that was wearing briefs....I wasn't made fun of....but I was embarrassed because every one else had boxers or boxer briefs....when i got home...I told my mother that I think I need to start wearing boxers instead of briefs...they are getting annoying and are kind of embarrassing....so a couple days later we went to Wal-Mart and I bought some boxers.....I wore them till the end of last year when my parents told me that they think i need to switch to boxer briefs...they said I was a little developed for my age....I had to get used to the boxer briefs and they are ok....I still sleep in boxer and lounge in them though....but when  go out, i have to wear boxer briefs.

My brother was really mean to me too when I was a kid.  I'm 28 years old now and I think I was 23 before I stopped flinching when he walked through the room.  The good news is he grew out of it and we're decent pals now.  

The only way you're going to get your mom to get you something different is to ask her.  The next time you're in a clothing store, ask for some boxers.  It's going to be embarrassing to talk to your mom about underwear but it beats being embarrassed every day at gym class.

holy c**p. whity tighties. i feel for you. one time i went camping and we found this kids underwear and he had whity tighties. and his name was on it! it was hilarious! but then he was rllllllllllllly embarrassed and i felt bad! so i have a good idea on how embarrassing wighty tighties can be for you.
