How do I get my necklace to stop turning my neck green?

I have this Betsey Johnson necklace with an owl on it. You;d think because its designer and all expensive that it would be good quality. Anyway, I really love it and I wear it all the time. I guess it got a little worn as time went on, because its been turning my neck green all summer. I got it in Nov.07. How can I remedy this!?

Maybe ur using perfume on your neck and it reacts with the chain to form a green stain on your neck.Try that if not im sorry ;)

I'm afraid you cant.  The best thing to do would be to take it to a jeweler and get them to put it on another chain.

clear nail pollish - run it along the chain and cover it all and problem solved i use it on mine

Well first you need to know that just because it's from betsey johnson doesn't mean it's good quality. The only real good quality in jewelry is if it's real gold which is 10k 14k gold or white gold. Betsy johnson does have nice products but most of her jewelry is fashion jewelry and fashion jewelry isn't real gold or quality silver. That's why your neck is turning green. Some people get allergic to fake jewelry and that's what happens. My advice to you would be to stop wearing it unless you want your neck to look green everytime you do.
