It should work the same, but you can restore default settings by pressing and holding MUTE and SELECT buttons until green light at tp blinks twice and then enter 9-8-1 (light should blink four times).

If not try reprogramming remote using code 0001 with same procedure as above. Good Luck!

Is this from a cable provider? trhey should automatically work on your DVR. You would just need to reprogram for your television. You might need to get online and search for codes, or call into customer service.
