How do I get my original birth certificate from Mexico?

i need my birth certificate (i was born in mexico) so i can get a mexican passport to travel to mexico. help

If you borned in the Federal District, you may probably ask for a certified copy through the Internet.

You can usually get them at a Mexican Consul? (Consulado Mexicano) They usually have your records on file if you were registered correctly in mexico

If you are an American citizen or a legal immigrant than you can call the Ameican embassey for help. You may also be able to get some help from the Mexican embassey here in the US. If not, I am afraid, unless someone can get it for you, that you will not be able to get it. It sounds like you are the first not the latter. I think the Mexican embassey should be able to walk you through who to contact and how. If not, go to the American embassey and see what they can do to help.
