How do I get my own .com website

Question

I'd like to have my own .com website to post pictures and articles on the latest fashion trends etc.

I'd eventually like to have advertisers pay to have their adverts on my page.

How can I get a .com website of my own and how much is it?

There are two questions here really. One is how do I get a domain name and two how do I get a website.

You have to produce your website and then buy the domain name and then get it hosted. Most hosting companies will organise the domain name for you. So that would be yourname.com The name you choose may be anything as long as someone else does not already own it. Have a look at my website for the whole process http://www.ds32.com

you can create your sub domain free in blogger, wordpress.

You can also purchase your domain from Godaddy.com .

There are many sources available on internet from where you can get free and paid domains.

Try www.godaddy.com. They are pretty good and quite cheap. Only about $7.95 per domain name.

But you still need hosting as well. I use www.hostgator.com for that.
