  1. In my own experience, if you're an experienced web developer/designer, you will most likely create first the basic structure of your site or the site itself through HTML(notepad, wordpad, msword or any text possible text editors), Dreamweaver, MS Front Page and other HTML editors out there or if you know Visual Basic or Java Script, then you must search for a hosting site, and upload it, many preferred to upload it to a free hosting site(yeah because it's free) but there are many drawbacks when you chose to upload in a free hosting site, your URL is not really that customize, an example would be like this one: www.supercalifragilisticespialidotious.y...

instead of www.yourchosenurl.com - this is attainable if you are subscribed to a paid hosting site. Another one is you will create your site in your chosen hosting site some offer a template for easy web designing others require you to do all the designing yourself, the only advantage in this option is there will not need to upload your files or site because it is already on the hosting site. Anyway, I think there is no such thing as 1 time payment in uploading or having your own site you have to pay for it monthly because for as far as I know, you site are also being advertised if you upload it in a paid hosting site, also in free hosting site but not as exclusive as a paid hosting site, if there is a one time payment for uploading a site with your own url i think there only few if there really are existing. Thats all I know I hope i have somewhat help you or someone else. Have A Nice Day

  2. You may go to a local hosting provider. And choose a better and cheap plan for you. The payment method could be cash or card,  you may pay monthly, quarterly or annual.

Of course, you may need to learn website development or ask a "reliable" developer to make it for you.

  3. Check out www.godaddy.com

  4. You can buy your website name from a provider for around $10.  After you have your website name you will need hosting for your webpages.  You can choose to pay for the hosting monthly or yearly.  It generally cost around $50 - $80 a year for website hosting.  It depends on how much space you need and what kind things you will be doing with the site. Go to godaddy.com or angelfire.lycos.com for more information.

  5. you mean how do you get your own domain name?

    go to this website: http://www.vodahost.com/partner/idevaffi...

you can download their webdesign software for free and when you sign up for a webhosting account (very cheap, you can pay by the month) they'll give you a free domain of your choosing.

  6. If you want to get a web address (domain name) like www.example.com, you have to pay for file hosting. Personal sites really don't cost much, but I'm afraid it'll be a forever fee, not just a one-time fee. Average costs are $15-30 a month, depending on your plan/hoster.

To make your own website, you need to learn how to write one! All websites use a coding language known as HTML - HyperText Meta Language. This language places every single object you see and don't see on every web page. For a beginner's tutorial on HTML, go here: http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.as...

Once you are ready to start using HTML, you need a site to publish it to. For someone who is a beginner like you, I suggest using a simpler site like Geocities (from Yahoo) or Freewebs. These are two web hosts that give a nice amount of space, and let you practice some web designing.

    Geocities: http://geocities.yahoo.com/

    Freewebs: http://members.freewebs.com/

Microsoft is also offering a free domain (ie, www.yournamehere.com) for one year. This is a good offer since almost all other companies don't offer free domains period. Instead, you have to settle for a subdomain (yournamehere.webhost.com, www.webhost.com/yournamehere).

    Free domain deal: http://www.microsoft.com/smallbusiness/p...

After you learn some HTML, you'll want to learn how to make your site look better and more unique. The answer is CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). This design language adds some style to your page by making changes to links, text, etc. Here is a tutorial on CSS: http://www.w3schools.com/css/

When you have a more advanced site, JavaScript will come in handy. It gives your site more pizazz by controlling every HTML element. Here is a tutorial on JavaScript: http://www.w3schools.com/js/default.asp

Sometimes you want to just download a site instead of doing the hard work and creating all the images and text decoration. Many websites offer web template services. Do a Google search for "free web templates", and you will get a list of companies that offer website downloads: http://www.google.com/search?q=free+web+...

With this, and a little elbow grease, you'll be able to design a great website that you can show off to friends, family and anyone else who visits.

  7. ok this is very easy just use free webs

freewebs is a free website hosting site where you can publish information so people can visit the site.

    just follow the steps below

    1# go to http://members.freewebs.com/

    2# click "start now"

3# it will ask you to sign up giving details of the name of your site and the templates you want to use

4# your will be brought to the main menu of your site where you can add, edit, and bring information

    enjoy your new site :D;D

  8. Hi

You should look at Godaddy as stated b 4 me for your domain name and I advise you to use Hostgator.com for your host. These are not only the most popular but best value for money.

The .com will cost you about $10 or something for one year and I think Hostgator are doing basic hosting (thats all you will need for now) for about $5 per month so for about $70 per year you will have your own personal domain and web space.

As for the website that is a different story but if you need more advise, I will be happy to help...

  9. Try Blink Web or Wix, their easy to manage free website (or blog) has cool features that include drag and drop capability, switch designs on the fly, youtube and google video, custom html, upload images, flikr photo gallery, visitor stats and more.  You can also buy a new domain instantly, or host your existing domain for free and make it your own (www.yourown.com)

If your looking for something more advanced but still user friendly then try Easy Site Web or Site Builder Designs, they have everything you need in building your own website: domain name registration or domain transfer, web hosting, web builder, site maintenance and email accounts. Everything is laid out in an easy to follow step by step instruction. Some of the features included enable you to add your own themes, videos, images or mp3 music making your site unique to you. Pricing is comparable and affordable too.

I hope that I was of some help and answered your question.

  10. If you want your own personal domain eg www.whatevertextiwanthere.com you will need to pay a one off fee to register and a yearly fee to keep it. you will also need to pay someone to host it (unless you have your own server permanently connected to the internet)

many companies such as www.1and1.com will take care of the whole process and give you a simple package deal.
