How do I get my parents to let me get an Xbox and Halo 1 and 2?

My dad doesn't really care how violent a game is, and would let me get Halo 1 and 2 in a heartbeat if it wern't for my mom. She thinks Halo is all so violent, but it's just as violent as some of the other games I play! What should I do to try to convince her that it's not that violent? Even my sister is backing me up in this, but it's not working. Please help.

show her videos of Manhunt, n promise her you wont get that game if you let her get Halo, which you cna also point out Masterchief is a great rolemodel or whatever BS like that that parents liek to hear.

Explain to your mother that you know the difference between a video game and real life. Tell her that you know its just a game. Also, make a point that your mature enough to handle the game. You said it yourself "It's just as violent as the other games I play!" Show her how responsible you are by doing some extra chores around the house without being told. You will eventually convince her.

show her the really violent games you have and then compare it to halo 3 and it should convince your mom. Or have you dad take you and not tell your mom. i do that all the time.
