Question:

How do I get my period to stop leaking off my pad?

I use a pretty thick pad, and I don't sit slouchy when I'm on my period

But somehow it always manages to find it's way out, and I'm worried it's gonna go through my pants and embaress me

I put an extra pad on the very back, just in case

But it CAN be alot of a hassle.

  1. I know your going to hate this answer but..... tampons are great.

    You can't even feel them.

My lil sis got her period before me :( not cool, but anyway.

I totally taught her how to do it cause she was scared and I had to use a monastat once.

    its pain free!!

  2. Try using a tampon..

  3. I use to have exactly the same problem as you.

I know this may sound strange but use 2 pads, and overlap them to make them longer.  It may sound like a waste but you don't have to change the bottom one as much.  I feel so much safer with 2!

It worked for me so it might work for you, just give it a go!

    Good luck

ohh i use the purple always ones.

  4. Get the longest ones possible, it works for me

  5. Try Always Overnight or Kotex Overnight.  These pads are wider and longer in the back to keep your flow in your pad.  Use tight underwear with the pad and see how it works.

  6. Use tampons

  7. than get pads with wings

  8. If you can't use a tampon

Use stayfree overnight with wings. They are thin so they don't feel like a diaper but they are very absorbent.  They are also large enough to cover all of your underwear and the wings on the side help with leaks.

  9. Do you buy the pads with wings?

  10. Get the extra long kind and use a tampon or cup with it.
