Question:

How do I get my pictures off my Nikon Coolpix P5000 that are stored on the camera's memory?

I don't have the right plug so I've been taking the SD card out and putting it into another camera that takes a standard USB cable. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason some pictures I just took were stored on the camera's memory and I want to get them off! Is there a way to move them to the memory card? Thanks!!

  1. no, there's not... you have to get the right cord for your camera....

the SD card memory and your camera memory, are two totally different things.... if you want to view the pics on your camera memory, take the memory card out, and you can view them

if a SD card is in your camera, the cameras memory will be 'invisible'

  2. I'm not sure, but you might be able to move them to your memory card.

Set your cam on playback, internal memory pics and look for a "copy" function on the menu.

But, again, I'm not sure, I'm not well versed in Coolpix.

    It works on some cameras.

  3. Most of the time it depends on the camera but most likely there is no way to transfer pictures onto your SD card from your camera. You might want to see if you know anyone with the same kind/brand of camera as you and ask to borrow their cord for an hour or so to take your pictures off.
