How do I get my pilot P-700 ink to flow again?

The ink stops running after I did not use the pen for a while. It is still 50% full. Is there a way to revive it or do I just have to throw it away?

I don't know about spitting on the pen tip, but when I have a ball point pen that stops writing prematurely, I "write" on a light bulb, and the heat gets the ink flowing again without getting ink all over my hand.

SPIT 0N UR FINGER, RUB THE PEN IN SPIT AND USE. MY 7TH GRADE TEACHER TAUGHT ME THAT AND BEEN USING THAT TECHNIQUE F0R 11 YEARS
