How do I get my roundoff backhandspring in about a week?

Cheerleading tryouts start in less than a week, and I want to make competition squad. I cheered last year on varsity, but my goal for this year is to make competition. I've had my backhandspring before, but I lost it. I'm in a tumbling class, and I almost have it again, but I want to be able to get it mastered. Please give any advice you have! Thanks!

  1. I practiced on a barrel when I did gymnastics on the floor. And the trampoline with someone to spot you


  2. you dont. sorry, but it's unlikely you'll get it in a week.

    just try your best at tryouts, and explain to the judge or whatever that you're in a tumbling class, so you'll be able to do the roundoff back handspring and whatever else they like at cheer soon. x

  3. You may get your round off backhandspring by then, but not very well. it wont be very neat, and to make competition squad, its not if you can do it or not, its how you do it! IT HAS TO BE NEAT! so dont just think if you can do it, youll make it!
