How do I get my sales tax back on purchases made in the USA?

I love in Canada and I know I'm entitled to get my sales tax back on purchases made in Michigan but am not sure how to do this. Anyone know?

  1. If this is possible, Michigan is the place you need to ask, not Canada.  Usually when there are programs like this, they are well publicized by the stores near the border, since it's to their advantage.

    PS: you love in Canada, but where do you live?
