How do I get my sister to back off without ruining our relationship?

(Back story) I have two children my sister adores them but, she does not respect us as parents or our privacy as a family .We ask her to call before coming over she says no because she doesn't want to hear us say no. If we tell her she can not pick up the kids she gets very upset and demands why then does not call for weeks.

Stand up and tell her off. It won't ruin the relationship, only change it for the better.

tell her how you feel.if you don't then you might as well get used to her doing this. there is never a 100% chance she won't get mad. i know it may be hard but seriously do you want to deal with this forever

I would say something to her to make her feel really bad! Dont be MEAN, just try and make her feel like its her fault, without making her mad.

hmmmm.... you can say something like... (Husband's Name) and I are having a lot of problems and we really just need our space right now, it has NOTHING to do with you. I love you and the kids ADORE you, but we really have a lot of things we need to work out right now. I will let you know how things are going... your opinion means a lot to me. Thanks for understanding!!

talk to your sister, why she is acting the way she is, alone, dont make her leave until she really talks to you.
