How do I get my telephone buttons to react to finger pressure properly?

How do I fix the action on my telephone buttons so that they react to the finger pressure properly? Sometimes they don't react and sometimes they initiate a number more than once when I have only pressed a button one time.

There's really not much you can do.  You could try using some canned air to clean out the keypad to prevent sticking but they're physical devices and they sometimes just wear out.

Take the phone apart and clean it with alcohol. If that doesnt work, buy another phone.
