How do I get my xbox 360 live to work?

I have an xbox 360, and no matter what I do, I cannot get it to connect to my computer, cable box, etc.

How do I hook it up to get it to work for xbox 360 live?

I know this problem from personal experience. The best thing to do is to go to your local radio shack or and electronics store. Tell them your problem and they will help you out. Asl them about a UNIVERSAL BROADBAND LINK. This plugs into your Xbox then to the box then to a outlet. Then you plug another one into your computer and into a outlet. Its what i have. I hope it works
