How do I get out a Bare Minerals stain on my light colored carpet?

I was doing my makeup in one area for a month or so & just noticed that the mineral powder seemed to slowly build up on the carpet.

We tried vacuuming but it didn't work.

(Tresemme HairSpray)

Spray hairspray directly on the stain

gently with a cloth or paper towels to remove makeup.

You may need to do this several times.

Do not scrub area.

You may want to use a test area before attempting this to make sure there is no discoloration, even though I would assume not because it hairspray, it's always better to be safe than sorry.

If desired, you may wash area with soap and water afterwards to remove sticky-ness.
