How do I get out of groups?yahoo keeps rejecting my sighn out application?

my calendar and mail is filled from this group.i just want out.I flled a form to get out but they keep saying they can't accept it.

1. Try to unsubscribe through:

2. Send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. ([e-mail])

3. Block the address(es) or arrange your preferences so that they are sent to your bulk/spam folder.

4. Contact yahoo customer care:

yes they are hard to get out of and sometimes they send you an email and checks it and sometimes it takes 48 hours before your name goes off the group listings.

These are very easy ways to get out of that group and keep group events out of your personal yahoo calendar:

1)  Sign in to the group that you want to leave.

Near top of page, click "Edit Membership".

Scroll down to bottom right side of page and click "Leave Group".

You will be asked if you are sure you want to leave the group.  Click on "Leave Group".

You will be instantly unsubscribed from the group at that point.  

You will continue to receive any messages that still remain in the Yahoo email server until all of those are sent out. Then you will not receive any more from the group.

2)  To keep your personal yahoo calendar from being bombarded with any group events:

Sign in to your Yahoo Mail account

Click on the Calendar tab

Click the "Options" link in the upper right hand side.

Click "Time Guides" located in the far right column.

Scroll down to "Groups" and locate any checkmarks next to any of your groups listed.

Click one time on the checkmark(s) to clear it/them.

Scroll down to bottom left corner and click "Save".
