  1. Just go, once you start to play you will not be scared.  Get there early and pick 1 or 2 people that look like they could be your friends and hang with them.  If you really want to get out of doing this then it is best to discuss with your mom

  2. It will be a great way of meeting new ppl which is probably why your mom is making you play. how about just going once and see where it goes. Then decide about quitting.

  3. say ur leggs are hurting bad

  4. Either Say "No", Or Play Round And Sprain/Twist You Ankle..Then You Can't Play....Even Fake An Ankle Twist...

  5. Why are you scared? You shouldn't be scared, you meet new people that way. You might even make a new best friend after practicing together.

And um, don't try breaking anything, right now I have a broken wrist, and boy does it hurt!

  6. And why is your mom MAKING you play. Don't play is all.

  7. The whole point of team sports is to make friends and staying at home wont help at all. So go and have fun and make new friends.

  8. just dont go then

  9. Don't be such a baby. What better way to meet people at your new school than to go out for a sport.

    Give it a chance.

Otherwise - and this may come as a shock - just don't go out.

Or, lie to your mom, and instead of going to practice, go hang out in an alley and smoke cigarettes with the burnouts. Make her proud!

  10. fake sick... duh u know bad tummy aches u always beding over ur stomach... etc etc

  11. pretend to have an epileptic seizure.

  12. Don't be scared. The only way to get rid of your fear is the face it. As you sit here on the Internet you are faced with people that you don't know all the time just by asking questions and and getting answers. At least when you go to volleyball you'll be meeting real people who you will know in real life. Don't hang around your computer all day and exclude yourself from what could be a lot of fun just because you are new to a school. Think of it as a new start and a good way to meet new people with common interests as you. Volleyball shouldn't be that scary. =) At least she's not trying to make you play something like hockey or tackle football. There are a lot worse things then making new friends =)

  13. I really don't know your mom so I can't say how she's gonna react but I know what I would do if it was me.  Just sit her down and try to explain to her how you really feel about it.  I mean if you honestly don't feel comfortable playing is she seriously going to make you play?

  14. Just go, it'll be fun, you don't have to be scared

Your mom is right making you do some sports

  15. Lift up something in front of your mum, then yell in agony pretend you hurt your back, it's the most difficult thing to disprove, even doctors can't tell, but you will have to pretend you are in pain for a few days.

  16. I think the best bet is to break your leg or ankle. Just fall down the stairs or go jump off ur house roof. My friend fell off his house roof and broke his arm. If you cant do that then just make something else up and be creative about it.

  17. just say no

  18. just walk out of practice and tell your mother that the coach kicked you out cuz you didnt want to sint in the bench
