It all started when I went to my grandma's who keeps all of her food (even if its out-dated). I went over one day in May or so with my family. And it game to dinner (I guess i wasn't thinking at the time), and she gave me and my brother egg-nog, we also had KFC. Around midnight in the middle of my sleep I wake up feeling nautious. I puke all over her house as I ran to teh bathroom. I feel alot better afterwards and relieved. The next morning I wake up, go upstairs for breakfast, and I see an empty carton of egg-nog. The date on it said "Best Before DEC 7 2005" ( I was 14 at the time ).

Another story a year later, we all went on a skiing trip (me and my family) my brother caught the flu and brought stomach flu to our family, luckily I didn't get sick =] and enjoyed a nice snowboard trip. Although when my Dad caught teh stomach flu he thru up several times and made thsi wierd sound as he threw up "erowwwwl, errrowwwwwl" I remember the year earlier throwing up. AND has brought fear to me ever since.

I'm still a teenager and I really wanna drink and praty with my friends cuz im missing out on teh best part of my life! getting drunk with teenagers your own age! And i've neve been drunk before and need to try it, but my fear of puking is stopping me. I dont know what to do =(. Sure call me a wimp but that won't help.

  1. You definetly need to check out that website. I have the same fear and that website helped me out so much. As strange as it sounds, emitiphobia is a real phobia. I've had friends make fun of me because of it but they don't understand. I know a lot of people say that throwing up makes you feel better and while that statement can be true, it's not very easy when you're scared of throwing up. I remember I felt so bad when my EX got food poisining and I couldn't take care of him because I was so freaked out, and when a friend got this nasty stomach flu that was going around I freaked when he started throwing up and literally ran out of his house and he had to wake up a friend to take him to the hospital because I was too scared to do it. I know it may sound like a dumb fear to most people, but trust me there are plenty of people who have that exact same fear. But definetly check out that website, it may help you out. Good luck!

  2. just get over it

  3. It's actually a real phobia, it's called emetophobia. Check out www.emetophobia.org. It's a god-send.

  4. We should always check the dates before we intake just a tid bit there. ok about that, the number one way 2 get over something is to take on that fear slowly. Everyone gets that bad stomach bug so you need to get over this fear you have. Noone enjoys that part of life but theres really nothing to be scared of it happens!

  5. Well, don't try drinking, especially if your young. Doing that to a developing mind can give you permanent brain damage for life. Don't call yourself a wimp for not drinking, because actually your being a lot smarter than those who choose to drink (and because youre not damaging your brain like they are, you will probably STAY smarter than them). And I totally understand your fear; I have the same phobia of throwing up, so I'm just careful about what I eat and I always check the expiration dates on my food!

  6. First your not even gonna really care that you throw up when you are drunk. Secondly and this is the most important, you feel so much better after you just puke your *** off. So dont worry about it and it won't be as bad a food posioning or stomach flu.

  7. Heeey, im almost 16 so your not going to get any, AH no don`t drink, your making a bad choice, blah blah from me :P.  Infact i am still a wee bit drunk from tonight, which was much fun might i add!  If you drink it doesnt necesscarilly mean you are going to throw up.  Everybody is different.  I can drink like a mickey and not get a hangover, while some people throw up really easilly.  But relax, just drink enough so you are more socially at ease, but not passing out and toddling all over the place.  And if you happen to be arround someone who throws up, well thats just one way to conquer your fears.  There really isnt any other way to just vanish your fear of vomit, sorry.  But the more you are arround it the more you`ll get used to it.  And just think, just because they threw up, its not like a sickness that you`re going to catch,  because i used to think i was afraid of vomit, but then i realized i was just afraid of like catching the flu or something.  So hope i helped!  Don`t let it get in your way of a fun party!

  8. This one is really easy-Get really drunk and at the end of the night stick your finger down your windpipe-AND VIOLA!!  I used to have the same vomitphobia as you, but at the end of the night-you don't want all that EXTRA party-poison in your system, so puke it all up.  Make sure you're alone and can make loud noises.

  9. I actually like throwing up because it makes me feel 110 percent good but if ur scared ur gonna drink n throw up eat alot before you drink and alot after you drink
