Well, tomorrow at 11:00 am, [c-section] my baby sister is going to be born! I am so excited for this and I will get to see her at 4:30, shortly after I come home from school.

How can I concentrate on other things until the time comes? I am so excited I'm afraid I won't be able to concentrate on anything else!

  2. I think it's great that you are excited! I would be too. Congratulations for you and your family. I am sure your baby sister is going to be beautiful and I don't know you, lol. but I am sure you'll be a great sister.

I am very happy for you and your family! Thanks for sharing.

  3. Hi Izzy,

That's so great! I'm very happy for you. Being a big sister would be awesome. I'm the youngest of 5 and would have loved to have a baby sister.

About the excitement, when you get a break closest to when the baby will come. Ask if they can send you a picture to your phone. If not maybe to an email address you can look at, at school. Let your teachers know, I'm sure they would be happy to let you see it.  I had my nephew do that for me as they were in another state. I think I was the first one to get a picture and I felt as though I was part of their happiness. It helped a lot until I was able to see her.

Congrats to you and your family. Did they pick a name?

    Take care

  4. You should try to do something that is really fun for you until tomorrow. Then later tonight you should ask if you can go to the hospital with your parents. Then you will get to see your baby sister the second she was pulled out! Good luck!

  5. Aww well congrats sweetie! I think you should be there for the c section! You aren't going to be able to concentrate at school... I know I about went crazy when my sister was in labor and I was at school! She didn't have the baby until around 7:30 that night, but I was freaking out at school! If you have to go to school, then relax take deep breaths, and then scream to all of your friends and tell them that you are having a baby sister! lol. Just be patient, if you have a cell phone, text your other siblings all day, and have them text you when ur sister is born =)

p.s. Are you liking school ok this year? You aren't crying on weekends are you? =)

  6. Ok...relax....I really comprehend your excitement...I can imagine that you have no other brothers/sisters....anyway, try to focus on one aspect at a time....in this way you won't really feel the time passing.
