How do I get paint off of carpeting?

I had my living room 'professionally' painted...and as I'm going around looking more closely, I've found several (small) areas where the paint brush must have skimmed the carpeting when he did the baseboards. What do I do?

However if this were a professional painter you need to alert them to this. They might have something that works without you buying anything.

Contact the painters and see if they can get it off the carpet.

If they can't or won't then get what Sheeter recommended.
