How do I get past this caller ID block?

Question

I live in Europe and my mother lives in America. I tried to call her this morning and I got a message saying that this caller doesn't accept blocked numbers, etc. That I should unblock my number and try again.

They only problem is that caller ID always registers my number as unavailable since I am international. I can't type in anything to make it work like *82. I stayed on the line after the recording to see if anything else would come and it just said please hang up and try again.

Anyone have any ideas what I can do? Thanks!

My first guess would be to try *82 but you said that doesn't work so I would just  call your telephone company or go to their website and ask them.

send her an email or IM and tell here to take the block off!!

tell your mother to take the call block off of her phone..with the do not call lists here..she doesn't really need it that much.
