I know, I am normally not one to care what people think of me... but it is starting to get on my nerves that everyone thinks I'm a goody two shoes...
I get straight A's, I'm in honors english, and I correct everyone's grammar. I excel in math, [where everyone seems to struggle and somehow people are just AMAZED..?] and I am just SICK of everyone assuming just because I'm get good grades, means that I'm some kind of freak with no life.
Sometimes I try to talk about politics, or even popular stories in the news, but NONE of my friends know anything of what I am talking about. I'm not that young either! I'm a freshman! Shouldn't people my age know about things in the news?
I am NOT a goody two shoes... I love almost everything on comedy central, I'm loud, talkative, I space out in classes, and I honestly think I'm stupid. I try VERY hard to get the grades that I get.
I know I am going to get a lot of responses saying "Why do you care what people think of you, be yourself!"
But honestly, even good people are a little judgemental at first. Don't even lie to yourself and say that you aren't even a little judgemental when meeting new people.
The reason almost everyone knows of my grades is because teachers announcing the A's and the people who scored 100% on the test. I hate stereotyping... :/
Does anyone have any suggestions on people getting to see the real me... BEFORE they judge me?
