Thanks everyone. Last night I just slept with my plugged ear down on the pillow and slowly it came out. And to that person that said use a blowdryer, I won't. The blowdryer is loud and loud can be bad for ears.

  1. When I was a kid and it would happen, I'd use this stuff called SwimEar. Basically, you tilt your head to one side, put a few drops of SwimEar in, wait about a minute and tilt your head so the water comes out. I can't remember a time that this stuff didn't work =D.

  2. till your head to either side and walk wells tomp more like and flick your head to that side each step or jsut lay on the ground with ear down and wait

  3. push your pinky into your ear hard, but not to hard, count to three and pull your finger out then jump on one foot with your head titled sideways,

  4. First clean with a  thin cotton cloth n later with cotton buds.

  5. Sassy,

There are ear drops that are made specifically for this problem but if you want to be pro-active you can invest in a good pair of form fitting ear plugs to use when you swim.

If not, then tilting your head to one side, or laying down as you did, can certainly help.

    Hope this helps.

  6. Have a friend to suck out the water in your ear. Same method with snake bites.

  7. i am a life long swimmer and what we all do at practice is jump like you are doing jumping jacks

then do it alternating your head to both sides

evening out the water lever making it easier to get out

  9. tilt your head to where your clogged ear is down and then jump annd tomp until it is gone....

  10. I have found a couple of things that work but the one that WONT is using a qtip or sticking anything else in your ear.

What does work is jumping up and down with your head tilted downward to the side that is filled with water (you will look silly lol) or tilt your head downward on the side that is filled and use the palm of your hand on the opposite side to slap the other ear (if left ear is filled tilt your head to the left and use your right hand to smack your right ear...not too hard though). Remember gravity is your friend. And if that doesnt work, get rubbing alcohol and put two small drops in the cover and pour it in your ear...when it goes in you will feel it drying up kind of and after just tilt your head downward and you will feel it drain.

  11. swimmers ear drop, but when i'm out i use alcohol instead, stills works....

  12. i don't know exactly how, but u can lie down for a while when u return home and place a cottonball either filled with a piece of hot garlic or alcohol in ur ear (s) and just wait till it drains it

  13. a REALLY good way is to blow dry it with a hair dryer after your swim. Either that or you can wear those wax ear plugs made by TYR that are water proof when you are swimming.

  14. this works for me but i just tilt me head side way and wait for it to slowly slip out i dont want to stomp and kill my brain cells(i'm careful of my brain cells)Xd

  15. put water in yaour ears

  16. either jump up and down several times with the ear that has the water in it facing the ground. If that doesn't work, then put your pinky in the ear, and push down, not too hard, then move your ear side to side fast.
