  1. Really, the best solution is to begin to learn how to cook for yourself, that way you can experiment with flavors and recipes so that you begin to discover what foods you like and don't like within your vegetarian lifestyle. One really great super food that is high in protein and lower in carbs is quinoa. Aside from that, whole grains like brown rice and sprouted breads for example have higher amounts of protein than their white, refined counterparts.  Keep in mind you are going to want to maintain a balanced vegetarian diet...not just protein. So that you have something to refer to, here is a link to the vegetarian food pyramid:http://www.vegetarian-diet.info/vegetari...

Also, here are some sites to give you ideas on soy-free vegetarian options: http://www.vegan-food.net/news/58/ http://veganlunchbox.blogspot.com/2008/0...  http://glutenfreesoyfreevegan.blogspot.c...  http://foodallergies.about.com/od/soyall...

  2. It seems your diet is ok. Here is some more information which will be beneficial for your proper nutrition's:

*Try to set a weight , it means this set point theory of weight control holds that the body will defend a certain weight regardless of external factors, such as calorie intake or exercise.

    *  Eat a variety of foods.

    * Balance the foods you eat with physical activity -- maintain or improve your weight.

    *  Choose a diet with plenty of grain products, vegetables and fruits.

    * Choose a diet moderate in sugars.

  3. You can get more protein from Eggs,Fish,Meat and especially beans.

  4. EGGS. Egg whites are a very clean protein without cholesterol. Add sliced hard boiled eggs on you salad. And scrambled eggs with salsa in a tortilla wrap for breakfast or a snack is a very easy meal.

Combine whole grain (brown) rice and beans, like Louisiana red beans and rice (YUM). Or corn with beans, so add a whole grain like corn to chili, for example.

Read labels there is protein in sliced bread.

Also soy crumbles (TVP) or soy burgers. You can find both frozen or tvp dried. They call them meat analogs, substitutes for meat. Seitan is another one, not something I use, but it's out there.

Add yummy green soy beans to stir fry veggies. Soy doen't need to be combined with another food to give you a complete protein. If you like dairy then look for a low fat cheese.

  5. Dhals(pals),beans,milk,fish & chiken

  6. Eggs and whole milk. IN addition to the protein, you need cholesterol and saturated fats. They are nutrients the body uses to repair and maintain itself.

  7. beans are full of protein

  8. There are many tasty ways to cook tofu. It's a good idea to make friends with it, it's one of our best sources of protein.

Other than that, beans of all kinds are high in protein. Kidney beans, black beans, green beans, chick peas...
