How do I get ready for volleyball?

I am trying out for volleyball in 4 months and I want to know what i need to work on to get ready. Like what muscles do I need to have built up to be an awsome volleyball player. Please help me and give me some advise. thanks.

  1. Do you have a volleyball.. I would say practise with one of those and see if it helps.


  2. i would say try looking for some local gyms in your newspaper and practice there or if you are in school, go to your gym teacher and ask for help

  4. You need work the core of your body.  Abdominals and lower back are extremely important. Do crunches and lower back workouts. Stretch before and after workouts to avoid injury. Swim if you can for a total body workout.  good luck
