I run track and I need an extremely good time in my mile tommorow. I haven't been running my best but still I can't get my self to. I just can't. I get tired quick. I have a 8:30 mile. I am a seventh grader. I am looking for 7:30 tommorow. Will gatorade or powerade help. I am not looking for answers like do steroids.

  1. well if its tomorrow, than:

    get enough sleep.

    eat pasta.

    stretch before the race.

    don't drink before the race.

when running, breath in with your nose, not mouth.

    use your arms.

    keep your own tempo.

on 1st and 2nd lab just jog, and 3rd one go faster...4th one half way go fast and half way sprint.

when running do not look down, or back. look forward.

    also, believe in yourself.

    Good Luck tomorrow <3

    hope this helps

  2. you could probably walk an 830 dude... ouch

  3. have an energy drink ;)

but hate to tell you think but you cant just get fast in one day.

    but go for that time!

thats a good goal.since you cant handel to sprint the whole thing you have to pace yourself and a lot of people are going to spring the first lap...DONT DO THAT, you need to pace your slef and save up for the last lap

    good luck !

  4. don't get tired after one half mile

  5. get enough sleep, eat a good breakfast, stretch before the run, don't drink right before you start, breath in with your nose, not mouth, use your arms.try to speed up as the race goes along, sprint at the end, do not look down, back. don't quit no matter what..

believe in yourself and good luck
