How do I get reimbursed for a bounced check that someone wrote me?

call the individual, and tell him that if he doesn't make the check good in a few days you will give it to the county attorney for collection.

Then send him a certified letter witht he same information.

Well, you ultimately sue them for it, if they won't cough up.   You can also turn them over to your local DA, and have them brought up on criminal check fraud  charges.  Passing bad checks is illegal.
