Question:

How do I get rid of Dish Network HDTV blur and graininess?

I just got an HDTV receiver (the ViP612) and I got it all setup with an HDMI cable plugged into my TV running at 720p. My problem is that my picture on my TV does not look all that good. It is very grainy at all times and sometimes it gets very pixelated. When there is any sort of motion, it blurs a lot. With this quality picture, I thought that maybe my coaxial cords plugged into my satellite were bad so I swapped those around a bit and there was no improvement. Is there anything else I can do to improve my picture?

  1. You can change the zoom features by pressing the * button on you Dish Network remote.

You can also go into the menu and change the HDTV settings to 720p which is the highest setting available on the vip612 receiver

    Hope this works for you
