I recently visited my friend who has a dog. A day or two later while I was at work I felt something tickle me between my b***s (I'm serious). I look down and I grab a little bug but it jumps away. I couldn't find it after that but I did notice a bunch of bite marks where I first saw it and around my neck. THEIR ITCHY! I asked my friend and it turns out the dog has fleas. I don't know what to do, I heard that they can lay eggs and I feel like it's still on me! How do I make it go away? I don't know if there's more than one.

  1. Put a candle or a electric battery powered candel (those that you see for christmas) in a center of a +/-8 inches dish.

    Fill the dish with cooking oil.

    Set the dish on the floor as centric as possible in the room.

    Get the room completely dark.

    Turn on the candle

    Listen to your iPod for hours and wait if you are using wax candle.

    The fleas will be attracted by the light and it will go towards it. They eventually will fall into the oil and get trapped!

    I know people that have done this with wax candle while sleeping by setting the candle into a container, cup or jar. They set it in a safe place far from inflammable objects for extra precaution since the enclosed candle wont set fire the surrounding oil when it gets to its end.

    I recommend the electric candle (or any strong visible light).

  2. The fleas will die. they NEED to bite a animal to stay alive. Dont worry they will go away!

  3. yes they definetly do itch and lay LOTS of eggs which looks like salt but a little bit bigger. I would suggest you not go over to your friends house anymore until he bombs his house and gives the dog a flea bath.

    Bombing your house would mean that you have to buy this toxic thing that you have to sit in the middle of the floor in each of the rooms in your house and it releases a powdery smoke that kills all the fleas. A good idea would be to set of the bombs while you are at work so you will not have to breath in the fumes at home.

  4.     * You can try foggers, but you will probably need one for each room.

        * They are flammable, so turn off all pilot lights.

        * Remove birds and fish.

        * It's toxic, so don't breathe the fumes.

        * Protect surfaces by placing the fogger on a newspaper.

        * Leave the house undisturbed a minimum of two hours or as directed.

        * Thoroughly air out before introducing small children or vulnerable animals to the environment.
