Put a heap of bi carb in a bowl and leave it in the cupboard. It will absorb the smell. After, air it out well. Good luck!

i believe charcoal like you buy for your fishtank works well, place inside of cupboard and close for a week smell should be gone

I've heard charcoal is very good at absorbing musty odors, as well as crumpled up, B&W  newspaper.

Wash your cupboard with detergent and try wiping it down afterwards with a small amount of vanilla essence.

wash it out with lysol and let it air dry outside.
