Question:

How do I get rid of a virus that puts pop-up windows on my screen and displays "Ad served by ExperHelper"?

Every time I open IE7, an extra window opens up with advertising info similar to the info I have open on the window I'm using. At the bottom of the screen a little box appears, each time this happens. The box says, "Ad served by ExperHelper." I have run several spyware detectors and security scans (Norton, AVG, Spyware Doctor, etc.), but they have failed to expel the virus. Does anyone know how I can rid myself of this pesky nuisance?

  1. Try this one :

  2. Looks like you have been infected by something nasty.

To help your situation and restore your computer back to a clean state, I HIGHLY suggest you use ParasiteDB Disinfection Service:

    http://parasitedb.com/removal.html

They are good, cheap and reliable, and will give you a full refund if you do not get your problems solved.

Most conventional anti-virus programs are bad at virus removal. Trust me on that.

Let me know how it goes!

  3. I always go to this site and search http://www.majorgeeks.com/

Its a good site, I have always been able to find free software there and forums with help too.
