An insect company sprayed inside a wasp nest in my lawn a few days ago, but it doesn't seem to have made a difference because there is still heavy activity in the hole. How do I get rid of the wasps and their nest?

  1. burn it or try this http://doyourownpestcontrol.com/wasp.htm

  2. Be really careful with these ground nests.  I accidental dug into one and they chased me around the garage. Darn mean little things.

  3. wait until night time, that's when the stragglers return home, cover the hole with a bit of plastic and throw pure ammonia into the hole, let the plastic down to stop the few remaining ones escaping, the fumes will do the rest. leave till the morning

  4. If you leave the nest after it's been sprayed more wasps will enter the nest.  Call the company back and insist that they remove the nest.  Once the nest is gone no more wasps.  You can also do it yourself.  I have used Raid Wasp & Hornet $5 and it has always been successful for me.  It sprays up to 15' .  Just spray generously all over the nest.  Beware!  Wasps will swarm when you spray the nest so once you spray hide.  Then come back and spray again.  Once you see no more wasps coming out you can remove the nest and toss.

  5. Carefully saturate the nest with gasoline and set fire to it.  Be very careful with gasoline.  It kills grass and other plants, too, as well as burns the livin' bugeesees out of stuff.  I get rid of expired credit cards that  way.

  6. Wasp and hornet spray you can stand up to 15 feet away and spray them....  like 5 bucks
