  1. Try this.

Accept the call then when the salesman starts his pitch set your phone down and go about your business.  Soon they will figure out that it's useless to call you.

  2. Both just to be safe, it's against the law for them to contact you after you've told them not to contact you anymore and it's a 500 (or more) dollar fine every time they do as well.  The next time they call, ask them for their address and then to speak with their manager.  Explain they've called you several times after you've asked to be taken off their list and you will be contacting the FCC and FTC.  They are required by law to give you the information you ask for including their full name, address, phone number etc.  If they deny you any of this information, it's more fines for them.

  3. First, get on the Do Not Call registry.  It's automated and just takes a minute:  1-888-382-1222.  If they call after that, report it there and they can get fined big time.  I did it on my cell phone too!!!

  4. I just put my phone number with my second name as the last name ie rick jones instead of rick smith.  Whenever a telemarketer calls and asks for Rick Jones i know is not anyone i know so i answer all snooty and unimpressed and tell them "mahstah Jones is abroad and shahnt be home anytime soon"?   Works like a charm...lol.

  5. this wont help...

but i love call like that caus i can do anything i want to them

one of my favs is this, try to sell THEM something. or just put the phone down and wait for them to heng up

  6. Dont answer the phone.
