They are everywhere! In the kitchen, bedroom and living room, they are even in my chest of drawers. I have no idea where they are coming from nor how to get rid of them. I keep spraying them with ant spray but more keep coming. Help!

  1. An exterminator is the best way to go, but if you can't afford one they sell pesticide sprays for inside and outside use around the home.  Home Depot/Lowes carries them, and they have refill concentrates too.

I've been using Ortho Home Defense (outside) and it works great.

  2. If your house is council owned then you will be able to get them to come out and fumigate your house. But if you own your house you can get an exterminator in and that should get rid of your ant problem. By the way do you know where they ae coming from? because that will make it easier for you to get rid of them, you could smoke them out then.

  3. Curry  powder will deter them.

    DETER ANTS

Wash counter tops, cabinets and floors with equal parts of vinegar and water to deter ant invasions.

Maybe this will help... I know it does work just be careful to not get it in your eyes or pets or babies get in it ,cause it can be irritating.

  4. get a chemmical called ''rid ants'' from your local shopping centre then at nite clean areas where they are.   get the rid ant and mix it with  food scaps  [just small pieces that ants can carry back to the nest then when they eat it they will all die it kills eggs -everything try it ps change the sraps often try different foods then that give the ants variety and can confuse if they suspect somthing going on[ they are smart ill tell u] also when you see a big reduction also put a few bates to keep rite away  hope this works it did 4 me

  5. Use washing up liquid... it kills them and they won't come back my friend.

  6. get a tin of raid ant killer and spray round where they are it does kill them and it wont hurt your carpets if you have them inside

  7. Buy an aardvark.  They are difficult to house train though.

  8. If you are in the UK

get AntStop Bait Station  around £3 for two!

    They really work!

  9. We have the same problem, ever since we moved in last year, no matter how spottless we kept everything they still came in by the dozens, they even spent christmas with us,  we put a line of washing up liquid along the back and front door, they wont cross it and if they do they die with in a few more steps, also salt works, ants wont cross salt, other than that you really need to put ant powder right along your front and back of the house, we couldnt find were ours were coming from untill we did this ourselves then we found them all gathered outside the back door trying to get in but dying with the powder being there, millions of them so this was obviously where the nest was so we gave them an extra 2 tubs of ant killer there aswell. all gone now.

  10. Feed them corn meal. I just put out shallow containers of it about a teaspoon in each. They eat it. They can't digest it and it kills them. Also, corn meal won't harm children or pets.

  11. Have the same Prob here in South MS. The best thing I found so far is Terro liquid ant trap they sell them at Lowes.  You can put these in the cabinets under beds wherever you see the trail of ants. I've tried spraying but they come back. I thought they were sugar ants but an exterminator said they were looking for water.  Good luck.

  12. Use a mix of cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle it here and there. The ants will come and pick up the sugar, along with the cinnamon, and take it back to their queen. Ants can’t digest cinnamon and once the queen dies from not being able to digest the cinnamon the colony will die without her.

  13. If theyre everywhere i'd call an exterminator.

  14. dont leave food out...keep the dishes clean. spray the perimeter with pesticide that lasts 2 months+. then track where they are coming in the house at, then spray there. ants leave a scent trail...so after you kill their army....mop the floor or wipe down the surface.

  15. u can get a little box that it got poison in it and gets rid of them in no time all the ants i had are gone because of the poison box!!![but u have to refill it like twice a week or something...!

good luck of getting rid of them!

  16. You need to find where they are getting in. Ant do not like Eucalyptus try some eucalyptus oil also try putting talcon powder around the outside property walls you may then see how they are getting in. You have to find the nest.
