Question:

How do I get rid of bugs in my room?

Lately I've been getting bitten by bugs in my room, they aren't mosquitoes, just creepy bugs and they're too fast for me to kill, how can I repel them away from my room. I need something that I can basically do ASAP without going out or buying something or using lemon. If there's no other way, what can I buy at Duane Reade or CVS or any local pharmacy to repel them?

  1. You might have an opening in your house somewhere, because the bugs are getting in somehow.

Try spraying bug spray, and limit eating in your room, if the problem persists contact an exterminator.

  2. Get a good repellent without harming any people who stays with you or get a swapper and swap all of them! also a golf ball would help, trust me!

  3. lysol around the edges of your bedroom if you dont have pets or alot of bug spray =P

  4. quit eating in your room and keep it clean

  5. clean it!

  6. bedbugs?

    call an exterminator...

he'll tell you to bag up all of your clothes and don't unbag them until thier washed

then he'll spray the c**p out of everything.

you could bag up all of your clothes then destroy your mattress... meaning don't just take it to the curb, spraypaint "bedbugs" on it or slash the c**p out of it.

    those fukcers suck

  7. Try taking a glass of juice and setting it in your room (nothing that will get moldy) and then take a peice of paper and curl it into a cone with a little hole in the bottom so they can get in. They go in, and can't get out.

They might be bed bugs, and then you need a bed bug killer.

If you still cant get them, get like, an exterminator!

  8. oyyy, the questions on here...

close your window before dark. stop eating in your room. burn insence. get a vaccuum and suck up the bugs before they bite you. wear loose pajamas when you sleep, but make sure they cover your body. don't use your computer or turn on lights in your room at night. get bug spray and spray it outside your window.

seriously, how come you don't know how to kill bugs? I'm 15 and it's not rocket science!

  9. I'm wondering if you can post an update with the type of bug or their description. Are they bed bugs in your mattress? Click on the site below. Or are they fleas biting on you?

  10. Clean your room!

  11. well first you should clean your room and get rid of any food or dirty dishes in it.

then you should just use some of the non-smelly raid on the places where they usually are.

or individually on each little bug.

  12. make sure that your windows are all the way shut and if they have big cracks in them then tape them or something.  also try to keep food that might attract them out of your room.  once you do that stuff they should leave/ not get in

  13. get some type of bug spray

  14. Clean up your room.  Make sure you don't have any old food or fruit laying around.

  15. Bug spray around the corners of your room and next to your windows.

  16. To be honest, you do need to buy something and hire pest control people..

You can't just be ninja and destroy them by hand. Get an insect repellant and clean your house if it's dirty or has food or something that attracts them.

If you're 100% out of ideas, move out

  17. like what are they? roaches? bed bugs? if its like flies or somethin then just make sure u dont have food or standing water in ur room were they can grow. and they will die eventually. and keep ur window closed mayb they come in from there. and u should def. buy some Raid for those suckers! asap!

  18. i would use raid or just get an exterminator.

  19. buy raid  or smoke  them out

  20. Try using bug spray.

  21. The way it sounds, it's like national geographic is taking place in your domain.

Clean it up. Start dusting, lysol, mop, vacuum, change the sheets, get behind the corners and crevisis.

Eww maybe you have those bed bugs that have been in the news.

  22. Well if you think they're in your bed ... wash your sheets. Or turn on a really bright light and turn everything else off so when they fly towards the light, SMASH THEIR HEADS IN. ^_^

    :D

  23. Change your sheets or mattress. Or your on Meth.

  24. RAID but don't smoke once u sprayed it for at least 20mins..will kill anything that flies though!

  25. ok first u should go to a docter because it is important to know what is biting you. and if u dont this it is that seriouse then dont go to a docter. but try to figure out why they are there like do u have many crumbs or is your room really hot all those things can make a bug come and stay.depending on what it is nothing u buy can work.what do u think it is?

try spraying raid at like where the wall meets the floor all around urroom cuz thats where they r hiding cuz they wouldnt stay in ur carpet or floor cuz u couls step on them, so yea spray lots of raid then leave the room closed and stay out for a few hours.

  26. ask the pharmasist to recomend a bug repelant that you can spray on your skin

then get some raid and spray it wherever you see the bugs,

spray it, leave all the windows open and door cloosed for about 2 hours so it wont smell as funky when your in there

  27. We use Ortho Home Defense Max since we live near a lake and there are tons of bugs of every sort - like silverfish, beetles and who knows what. We spray the baseboards, the outside perimeter and around each door, air conditioner and window. You just have to stay on top of it.

Also, don't ever leave any food or crumbs in your room or sweet things that they are attracted to.

You could also have a major infestation living in the walls, or under the carpets. If a months worth of spraying doesn't work, then you'll need an exterminator to determine the type of critter and appropriate method of eradication. You may have fleas, bed bugs or any other types living there.

Also, if you have allergies or asthma you might need a safer method - ask your doc.

Wear goggles and gloves so you don't get the pesticide in your eyes or on your skin. Wash afterwards.
