  1. Hot water and pine-sol worked for me. I used an old toothbrush to scrub the smelly spot, then dried it with a towel. It's anti-bacterial so it will get rid of the smell, the stain, and the germs! Resolve carpet cleaner is what my Mom used, that worked for her.

  2. its really hard to my cats use to do that before and we had to get rid of the rug

  3. Nature's Miracle. you can get it at most pet stores.

  4. There is a product called "urine gone" it comes in a black bottle works very well

  5. Yes ...

spray with PURE alcohol... blot up and then spray again ...blot again. (it's MUCH cheaper than natures miricle... which I found really didn't do the job... this will)

If you think the urin is down into the padding of the carpet then I would POUR the alcohol over the spot and allow to sit about 30 seconds and then blott up.

    good luck

P.S also good for cats who spray or if the urin is in the bed/ couch etc.

  6. Check out this reference -- has information on how to remove all kinds of substances from carpets/ area rugs.

Good luck and I hope this helps.
