How do I get rid of fleas fast???!?

I live in a shared house with about 5 other people and no one has pets but we've discovered fleas everywhere! My ankles are destroyed by bites and and the landlord is too cheap to get a professional. How do I get rid of them in my room?? Help!

You have rid of fleas fast or else it will be more.

you need to buy flea "bombs" and set them off in the entire house. follow the instructions and dont stay in the house!! You can probably also find spray or something...look at the d**n store.
